Mainly on decent cycle paths near to the road virtually the whole way. Only saw 2 other cyclists, so the routes from end to end seem to be a bit more varied from here. Only passed one shop and one cafe in 52 miles ish. Saw a big eagle type thing sitting on a post next to the road, will have to look it up when i get home it was off too quickly to get a photo.

Probably (posibly)a buzzard...they seem to like the sheep pastures up there.
ReplyDeleteDon't be down hearted you are going through the grottybit of Scotland....it gets much better once you get out of the rift valley.
